In the late nineties Stoneman met fellow DJ/producer Sam Greycious. They became very close friends and soon they started performing together (Deep House) at underground parties, dinner clubs and in local bars. The b2b experience was great and both DJs had a massive influence on each other.
After mainly focussing on mixing for about seven years, Stoneman realised he wanted more. Producing his own music was his passion and creating his signature style en sound became his mission. After two and a half years of hard work and support by his coaches and friends Woody van Eyden and Sam Greycious, he released his first EP " Berlin Ohne Alles" in 2010 on the German label " Doppelgaenger Records ". The track "Berlin Ohne Alles" was also released on the " We Love Berlin " album and reached #4 on iTunes and was supported by Taras van de Voorde (EC Records (Rotterdam), Defected).
Stoneman's typical sound was picked up in 2010 by Tijs Hofman Sr. (Extra-Ordinary Bookings, Tilburg, The Netherlands) and he booked Stoneman & Sam Greycious for the 2010 "Smirnoff.. Be there Cube" . They perform under the name " Stoneman & Sam Greycious " . " The Cube " from Smirnoff was a big success on the summer festivals in The Netherlands (incl. Rockid, Dance Valley, Loveland, Zomerkriebels, Sneakerz) and more and more people became interested in this producer.
